2019 i2Coalition Congressional Fly-In Registration Now Open
The Congressional Fly-In on September 17 to 18, 2019, brings together Internet Infrastructure Coalition (“i2Coalition”) members in Washington, D.C. to discuss the issues most important to their business with Congress, policy experts, and more.
The fly-in is now open for registration to i2Coalition members.
This is the opportunity for Internet infrastructure leaders to stand up for the industry that’s the foundation for an enormous amount of the US and global economies.
We have a packed schedule featuring a variety of experts on topics including digital trade, intermediary liability (Section 230), and WHOIS privacy.
Tuesday, Sept. 17, will start off with Executive Branch Meetings, followed by a Legislative Bootcamp where members can engage with the latest issues. The day ends with the Google Diversity Reception which will address topics around fostering a culture of inclusion.
Wednesday, Sept. 18th, will begin with Deep-Dive Policy Sessions featuring representatives from Senate Finance, Commerce and the Judiciary. The lunch will feature a panel discussion moderated by i2Coalition Co-Founder and Executive Director Christian Dawson, and an award presentation for the “Champion of the Internet” and “Community Engagement” awards. After lunch, i2Coalition members will have further engagements with legislators.
The two-day schedule will be updated leading up to the event, and we’ll be announcing new speakers over the coming weeks.
The schedule will be updated as more details will follow.
