2026 i2Coalition Fly-In: Save the date
We look forward to welcoming Internet infrastructure industry colleagues to Washington, D.C. for the annual i2Coalition Fly-In. As this group’s premier event, the Fly-In is your best opportunity to directly engage legislators and policymakers in conversation about the significant impact Internet policy issues have on your business.
So save the date: The 2026 i2Coalition Fly-In takes place September 16-17.
As we face a growing number of challenges and changes, we strongly urge i2Coalition members to take advantage of these two days of face-time on Capitol Hill—even if your company is based outside the United States.
“With the new year already presenting so many opportunities and changes, the upcoming Fly-In is more important than ever,” says i2Coalition Executive Director Christian Dawson. “Given various competing ideas of how the Internet should be regulated, it’s crucial that we claim our seat at the table, build constructive relationships, and educate decision-makers about the importance of Internet infrastructure.”
On September 16th, i2Coalition members will meet with elected representatives and their staffs on Capitol Hill in a series of scheduled meetings. Small groups of i2Coalition members will then discuss the policies of highest priority to Internet infrastructure providers directly with those who craft policy. On September 17th, i2Coalition will host members and special guests at CTA Innovation House for a day of meetings with government officials and industry experts, capped off with our annual Internet Leadership Awards and a social reception.
The i2Coalition Fly-In is a fantastic way for members to collaborate face to face while championing policy issues that matter most to the industry—and the Internet—as a whole. Over two days we build and strengthen the working relationships with key policymakers and legislators that help translate our ideas into action.
“The Fly-In is really important because it establishes a sense of camaraderie in the industry, and it is one of the best places for folks who are engaged in their business to meet other people who are also engaged,” says David Snead, Director of the Secure Hosting Alliance (SHA). “It is kind of supercharged networking for good.”
This recap video from the 2025 Fly-In will give you an idea of what to expect over two exciting days in the U.S. Capitol. (We’re hoping, however, that the government is not shut down in 2026.)
“We as an organization get to show those legislators and regulators that there are active and engaged member companies who do incredibly good work,” says Dawson, “and they get to hear from these members directly as to why that work is important, and how the legislative decisions affect what they can do.”
Sponsorship opportunities will be announced soon. If your company is interested in helping us present this event, please reach out to i2Coalition’s Chief of Staff, Jennifer Price.
Registration will open shortly. For now, save the date to your phone, tablet, computer, or wall calendar!
