Join i2Coalition at CDT’s TechProm on March 10
If you attended Center for Democracy and Technology’s TechProm last year, I don’t need to tell you what a great event it was! The dinner was filled with industry experts, informative speeches, and of course the celebration of CDT’s 20th anniversary. Last year, a bunch of our members, including a half dozen of our Board Members (David Bryson, Richard Feller, Andy Mentges, Aaron Phillips, David Snead and I) were there representing the i2Coalition and as many of us as possible will be there to support CDT again on March 10.
This year, Tom Wheeler, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission will be the keynote speaker. We expect in the wake of the February 26th Net Neutrality vote that we’ll all want to her what Tom has to say to the tech community in Washington. The fun kicks off with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The i2Coalition has been a proud partner with CDT for the past few years. We both share the same vision for a free and open Internet, one that will thrive with continued growth through innovation. We strongly encourage all of our members to join us at TechProm to support our friends at CDT and celebrate the future of the Internet.
In addition to a great dinner and chance to network with industry allies, the i2Coalition will be holding a Member Policy briefing the day of TechProm. Details are being finalized. Please email us if you would like to attend the briefing and we will contact you with the particulars.
If you would like to join us at TechProm, please purchase your tickets through the i2Coalition or online on the CDT website. If you buy them through CDT, please let us know you’ll be there! There are many worthwhile sponsorship opportunities. Hope to see you on March 10!
