Member Spotlight: Steadfast

The following is a guest post from new i2Coalition member Steadfast.

Founded in 1998 by 14-year old Karl Zimmerman, in his bedroom in Fond du Lac Wisconsin, Steadfast began as a hobby to feed Karl’s passion for Internet technology. The company has evolved from a hobby to a multimillion dollar IT company that services thousands of clients. Our passion for technology remains a cornerstone of Steadfast principles. Today, Steadfast prides itself on providing customers with high quality, flexible, and exceptionally reliable managed services. We provide unparalleled support at a great price.

We were doing “Cloud” before the cloud. Steadfast has been providing managed services for 15+ years. This includes virtualization services for more than 10 years, for thousands of customers. We know what we’re doing and how to do it.

Our slogan, “Strengthen Your Focus” summarizes the ultimate benefit:  We focus on the day-to-day infrastructure maintenance burdens. This allows our customer IT resources to focus on projects and priorities that grow their business. We’ve applauded the i2Coalition’s fight against anti-Internet infrastructure policies and legislation for years. We’re lovers, sharers, and educators, not fighters; however, we decided it was time to join the coalition. The concern over how these issues will impact our business informed our decision.

Ill-informed legislation pieces have become an increasingly large and annoying item to deal with. These issues reduce customer confidence in infrastructure and the cloud. This comes from a lack of understanding of how technology works, especially in the Internet infrastructure space. We can help educate on our own and through the i2Coalition. We’re looking forward to a productive 2017 of membership!
