Today, i2Coalition and seven other allied tech associations sent a letter to President Trump’s United States Trade Representative, Robert Lighthiser, expressing serious concerns over aspects of ongoing NAFTA trade renegotiations. An appropriately balanced approach to copyright protections is key to the Internet economy. i2Coalition seeks to avoid significant disruption of that economy should changes to the status quo occur under NAFTA renegotiations. i2Coalition looks forward to engaging with Ambassador Lighthiser on this important issue.
