How to Address Unconscious and Implicit Bias: Webinar (RESCHEDULED: Nov 13, 2019)
Please note, this event has been rescheduled to November 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC) from its original date (October 9).
When confronted with obvious discrimination, many of us in a position of power would like to think we’d step in and try to make things fair. But unconscious and implicit biases operate on stereotypes beyond our own awareness, and in contradiction with our own conscious values. They’re far more prevalent than conscious prejudice and scenarios such as time pressure may activate unconscious attitudes and beliefs.
On November 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC), the i2Coalition Diversity and Inclusion Initiative will present the webinar, “How to Address Unconscious and Implicit Bias”.
This is a webinar that will give you ideas and methodologies you can implement immediately to confront unconscious bias in your workplace, and we encourage you to invite anyone you think would benefit.
This webinar is open to anyone who wants to take steps to limit the impact unconscious and implicit biases may have on their thoughts and behaviors.
