i2Coalition Expands with Membership Director
When we launched the i2Coalition last year with 42 members, we set ambitious goals for our organization. We aimed to educate our elected officials about the Internet and establish a united voice for our industry on a global scale. Over the past year, the i2Coalition has cemented itself as the unified voice and leading advocate for the Internet infrastructure industry. We have made great strides in educating Congress and establishing ourselves internationally. While we have been successful in our initial goals, our work is far from over.
We must continue to build on our past success and expand to keep our policy priorities at the forefront. We must continue to support a free and open Internet. And we must continue our ongoing education efforts about the vital role our industry plays.
One of the best ways to accomplish those goals is through expanding our organization, and through increasing the resources current members have to engage. The i2Coalition is pleased to announce that we’ve hired Hilary van der Meulen to serve as Membership Director.
Hilary will serve as our boots on the ground for engaging existing members in new ways and to recruit new members to help grow our organization. She will help represent the i2Coalition at events and meetings around the U.S. and globally. Having previously worked for iNET Interactive and Web Host Industry Review, Hilary has a strong background and organizational skills. She officially started on November 1 and in less than two weeks, has already created momentum. Hilary will be a great asset to the i2Coalition.
If you are interested in learning more about joining the i2Coalition, please contact Hilary directly by emailing [email protected]. If you are ready to join today, please fill out an online application. We’d be thrilled to have you and will make good on your investment to the i2Coalition and in the ongoing success of our industry.
