Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coaliton) Co-Founder and Board Chair Christian Dawson released the following statement as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid prepares next week to bring the USA Freedom Act to a vote on the Senate floor:

“The USA Freedom Act strikes the right balance between privacy and safety, and the i2Coalition is pleased to see it coming to a vote on the Senate floor. Passage of the USA Freedom Act would restore the confidence in U.S. Internet infrastructure companies that they deserve, and hold U.S. intelligence agencies to privacy norms that are recognized internationally. The Senate should come together in a bipartisan manner next week and pass this important legislation.”
