M3AAWG Becomes i2Coalition’s First Technical Partner
Earlier this week we have become a member of M3AAWG. Today we’re pleased to announce M3AAWG has become the i2Coalition’s first technical partner. We have partnered with M3AAWG on several previous projects to make the Internet a safer place, like consulting on Operation Safety Net, and helping to establish an important set of Best Practice guidelines for the webhosting Industry. We’re very excited for the opportunity to expand on these projects and more with M3AAWG as our first technical partner.
What Are i2C Technical Partners?
i2Coalition Technical Partners are non-governmental organizations, government agencies, industry groups, and more who we have established a formal partnership with to develop best practices, guide technical standards, to safeguard and advance the technology the Internet infrastructure industry is built upon. Beginning in 2016, we have new Internet Safety (ISWG) and Technical Outreach (TOWG) working groups who will work with these groups to produce white papers, op-eds, and content that will benefit the entire industry.
We’re looking for other groups like M3AAWG to become partners and work closely with the i2Coalition to make the Internet a better, safer place.
