Member Spotlight: Dynadot

It is an exciting and opportune time to play a bigger part in the domain name and hosting industries, as well as the Internet as a whole. Both industries have been in a constant state of change since their birth over thirty years ago. The last few years especially, we have seen an increasing amount of changes within the domain name industry. Just recently, we launched our 500th top-level domain (TLD), while just under 2 years ago, we only supported 30 TLDs.

In addition to the changes in the domain industry, we have also seen changes on the hosting side. Now, with website builders like ours, you no longer have to know how to code to create a beautiful website. In just the last few years, website builders have changed how websites are made. They’ve opened up website creation to anyone and that is exciting. Now, we can offer everyone from small business owners to bloggers a fast and easy way to get online.

As a part of the Internet infrastructure industry, one of the most important issues to Dynadot is keeping the Internet free and accessible to all. We were against SOPA in 2012 and we will always fight against any similar legislation. We can only continue offering our customers a great and easy way to get online if the industry as a whole continues to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from the Internet equally.
