Open-Xchange Invites i2Coaltion Members To Annual Summit In Berlin, October 8-9.
The following is a guest post from i2Coalition member Open-Xchange CEO, Rafael Laguna
Our journey together continues at the OX Summit in Berlin.
Rafael Laguna, CEO of German-based software provider Open-Xchange, invites you to join him at the forthcoming OX Summit in Berlin. If past years are anything to go by, it will be a lively event.Â
At Open-Xchange we’ve always considered i2Coalition a close ally of ours in the fight to protect internet freedom. Take our annual OX Summit last year, where your chairman Christian Dawson delivered a powerful session about the need for surveillance reforms. Christian made a convincing and engaging argument for the need for wide-reaching reforms, based on the fact that such changes will be:
- good for the economy
- good for the rule of law
- and good for the technology industry as a whole
This message went down incredibly well with the like-minded audience. At the OX Summit, you always find a huge array of free-thinking pioneers – people who are passionate about developing profitable new products that don’t violate the individual’s right to privacy.
If that sounds like something you’d like to get involved in, we’d love to see you in Berlin for the next OX Summit in Berlin on October 8-9.
This year the summit will feature keynotes from activists and cloud innovators that are determined to shape a more sustainable and free internet. You’ll also get demonstrations on the latest protocols, standards and all-important revenue models that are establishing a new framework for success in a reimagined view of an open internet.
We’re expecting over 500 decision makers from large telcos, major infrastructure providers and MSPs and also more than 25 Open-Xchange partners from around the world. We’ve got a packed and thought provoking agenda, including another session moderated by Christian “Where Innovation Lies: The Strength of Decentralised Power Online”. The session will discuss the battle between regulation and innovation and what the moral and commercial implications of that are. A don’t miss session.
The OX Summit has become a go-to place for internet professionals that want to exchange ideas based on openness and trust. As has become tradition, we’re also putting on some surprising and unexpected entertainment in the evenings, all set Western Europe’s most exciting and vibrant cultural capital, so there’s going to be plenty of good times to be had too.
We hope to see you there!
