Sayegh, Sabetian: Act to stop ‘judicial hellholes’

“Judicial Hellholes” is the name of a recent annual report from the American Tort Reform Association, and once again Texas finds itself named to the list and getting this (unwanted) attention — thanks to the preying acts of “patent trolls.”
Patent trolls (or Patent Assertion Entities, in legal-speak) are groups that bring frivolous lawsuits against their targets, despite the fact they themselves don’t manufacture or supply the patent they are targeting.
