Cybersecurity and Privacy Working Group: Become one of the ‘good guys of the Internet’
Since 2012, the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition) has been a leading voice for web hosts, data centers, domain registrars and registries, and cloud providers: our work has helped keep the Internet an open engine for growth and innovation. In a nutshell, we help those who build the Internet’s infrastructure have a say in shaping public policy.
We are now convening a Cybersecurity and Privacy Working Group so that the companies who build and deliver cybersecurity solutions can effectively inform those who craft public policy to do so in ways that are healthy for the Internet. This requires a wide range of input from companies active in the cybersecurity space.
We’re looking for security-minded industry professionals to help the i2Coalition fight the good fight: we currently have the support of giants such as Verisign, Google, and Amazon; as well as industry-shaping companies such as SquareSpace, NordVPN, and WebPros. This is a team you want to be on if you want your voice to be heard.
We maintain lines of communication with policymakers in the United States and Europe, with a reputation for fairly representing the needs of Internet infrastructure providers before bad policy can be implemented. Essentially we help companies become “the good guys of the Internet”, backed up by up-to-the-minute legislative intelligence.
If your vision aligns with ours and you care about the future of the Internet, we encourage you to join us as a member.
