Join Us for the 3rd Annual i2Coalition Fly-In

Next month, the i2Coalition will hold our 3rd annual member fly-in in Washington D.C. to meet directly with U.S. legislators who are making critical decisions that impact the Internet infrastructure industry each and every day. The trip will take place on November 17th and 18th and we welcome you to join us!

The Details.

Tuesday, November 17th

The i2C member fly-in begins with an optional Internet 101 education workshop at 10AM on Tuesday, November, 17th. This workshop is designed to assist the i2Coalition in creating a curriculum for Members of Congress and their staff in order to educate decision-makers on how the Internet works. We welcome your participation and insight as we craft this important curriculum.

The official i2C program begins at 12pm with a lunch and advocacy training. Industry partners and Congressional staffers will be joining us to educate i2C members on how to influence legislators.

Following our advocacy training, we will head to Capitol Hill to utilize the skills we learned during our prep session and meet with the key Congressional staff. The day will conclude with an evening reception where we will honor the winners of the i2Coalition’s third annual “Champion of Internet Innovation” award.

Wednesday, November 18th

Wednesday, November 18th will begin with a breakfast presentation held at the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)’s Innovation House followed by additional meetings on Capitol Hill. We will end the day in the late afternoon.

While it will be a very busy two days, this is an important opportunity to discuss the issues that face the Internet infrastructure industry in-depth and in-person and we sincerely hope you can join us.

Traveling from out-of-state?

The i2Coalition fly-in officially begins at 12pm on Tuesday, November 17th, and we encourage out-of-state participants to arrive that morning. The fly-in concludes in the late afternoon on Wednesday, November 18th, leaving plenty of time to fly out that evening.
