Video: Internet Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill
On February 27, the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition) held our Internet Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress and their staffs about the Internet and the importance of keeping it free and open. The day included a program with leaders of the Internet infrastructure industry and members of Congress to discuss policy goals for the 113th Congress. Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS), Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA), and Alexis Ohanian, Reddit Co-Founder addressed attendees. The event was moderated by Christian Dawson, i2Coalition Co-Founder and Board Chair. Senators Moran and Wyden and Congressman Issa received the i2Coalition’s “Champion of Internet Innovation” award.
