ICYMI: i2Coalition to Host Education Day on Capitol Hill this Week
This week, the i2Coalition will be hosting Internet Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress about how the Internet works. On February 26, we’re pleased to be co-hosting with Engine Advocacy the “Celebrate the Innovation Economy” reception that is sponsored by CEA. More details are available on our website.
Our industry is uniquely qualified to educate lawmakers about the fundamentals of the Internet and plans to do it this Wednesday, February 27. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), and Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, will be speaking at our lunch on February 27. After lunch, several of our members will be holding educational demos about the Internet. I’ve included details below about our day as well as information about the presentations that industry experts will be holding. We hope you’ll join us in promoting these important events for the Internet community.
